A Little Bit About Me

It all started back in the summer of '51 when I was born in Seneca Falls, NY. I didn't know it then, but that was the birthplace of the women's rights movement and I have thought about that at various times in my life. I studied Design and Photography at Syracuse University and was a partner in a Graphic Design firm in Grosse Pointe, MI. It was not until a few years ago that I was settled enough to follow my artistic desire and take up painting with acrylics. Basically, I am self taught and every canvas seems to open another door for me. It is pretty obvious that I like flowers and I am constantly looking for the next blossom. People tell me that I have developed a style of my own that I often describe as photo-surrealistic and every painting takes it a little bit further. I am not sure where this path will lead me, but I am enjoying the process.
