Pat was born in Eastport, Maine, but spent most of her life in Northeastern Massachusetts. She now lives on Amelia Island.
Pat credits her love of painting to an early teacher, Sr. Vincent DePaul, who was then head of the art department at Emmanuel College in Boston, MA. She began working in oils. She then studied life drawing at the NJ Center for Visual Arts in Summit, NJ. After a lengthy layoff while raising a family and running her own consulting firm she again started painting, now in both oils and watercolors. She attends several art workshops each year to expand her knowledge and learn new techniques.
She is a member of Jacksonville Watercolor Society, North Shore Art Association, Jacksonville Center for the Visual Arts, Glynn Art Association, Georgia Coastal Artist Guild and First Coast Plein Air Group.
Her preferred subjects are landscapes and seascapes and she particularly enjoys painting outdoors. Most of her paintings are done on location.
