Linda Ostwald-Boelke
Linda Ostwald-Boelke took her first painting class at the age of 13. Her parents encouraged her and set up an area in their home for her to paint.
During her high school years, Linda’s art teachers realized her talents and mentored her in painting and other art mediums such as drawing, sculpting, fabric art, and jewelry design. Linda started to receive commissioned jobs for paintings and was able to supplement her savings for college. From high school Linda went on to study at Wisconsin State University after receiving an art scholarship.
Linda has always found beauty in her environment. Her works range from relaxing
ocean and woodland scenes to wedding portraits and still lifes. Living in Florida
she is frequently commissioned to paint seascapes. Today her paintings are hanging
in homes across the United States – from California to Vermont to Florida.
Linda enjoys painting and captures the beauty of the smallest sea shell, the
tenderness of human expression, and the vast expanse of a sunset in each of
her paintings.
