Brigitte Martinelli was born in Nuremberg, Germany and has lived in many different areas.  Her one constant has always been her love for art.  She is a self taught artist who's joy has always been towards the more whimsical side of art.  She finds that we sometimes need an escape from the harsh realities of the real world into a place where our inner child can smile.

In the past she has concentrated on children's room design and murals.  One of her most touching memories, was when she was commissioned to do the Shriner's Children's Hospital in Greenville, S.C.  The joy on the children's faces was something she will never forget. 

She feels that you can lose yourself in art and find yourself in a world of magic...a place where anything can happen.
